History

We had a dairy farm for many years but had gotten out of the farming business a number of years ago. Then in 2011, we started growing flowers as a hobby, and people would stop and ask if they could buy our dahlias. In 2016, we decided to start selling dahlias to florists and at local farmers’ markets – and we started Hudsonville Dahlia Farm.  We are members of the National Dahlia Society and West Michigan Dahlia Society and participate in the Dahlia Show at Fredrick Meijer Gardens each year. We are proud to share that we have won several flower awards.

Hudsonville Dahlia Farm is a 5-acre dahlia farm in West Michigan. We specialize in cut flowers for florists, weddings, and local farmers’ markets. You can find us at the Holland Farmers Market on Saturdays beginning in June.

We encourage you visit the farm to enjoy the beautiful flowers; the farm is always open for you to enjoy. We kindly ask that you only take pictures and leave only footprints (please don’t pick the flowers!).
